Tigerexch Withdrawal Pending or Delayed? Causes & Fixes
September 14, 2026
Normal payout timings, the eight real reasons a Tiger Exchange withdrawal gets held, a symptom-to-cause table and exactly what to send support.
"Why is support asking me to verify?" is a fair question, and so is "how much should I share?". Verification on a Tigerexch ID is light compared with a bank, but it does happen — usually before a first withdrawal, after a number change or when something about a request looks unusual. This guide explains when checks happen, exactly what may be asked, the things you must never share with anyone and how the details you do share are handled.
Message "VERIFY" with your username and support will tell you exactly what is needed and why — nothing more.

KYC stands for "know your customer". At a bank it means a full identity file. On a Tiger Exchange ID the purpose is narrower: to be confident that the person asking for a withdrawal, a number change or a password reset is the same person who owns the account, and that the money is going to that person's own bank account. It is about protecting your balance, not collecting paperwork.
For most players, verification is almost invisible. You register through your ID provider with a WhatsApp number, deposit, play and withdraw to a bank account in your own name. The checks only become noticeable when something changes — a new bank account, a new number, a large first withdrawal or a login pattern that does not match your history.
If you are still deciding whether to open an ID at all, our Tigerexch ID page explains how accounts are issued and what you need to get started.
The table below lists the common triggers and what typically follows. The exact request depends on your account history, so treat it as a guide, not a fixed rulebook.
| Trigger | Why it is checked | Typical request |
|---|---|---|
| First withdrawal | Confirms the bank account belongs to the ID owner | Account holder name and bank details for payout |
| New or changed bank account | Most common route for diverting money | Account holder name matching the ID; sometimes a cancelled cheque or passbook front page |
| Registered number changed | The number is the recovery key for the ID | Message from old number, or ownership questions if it is lost |
| Unusually large withdrawal | Protects against a compromised account being emptied | Confirmation from the registered number; occasionally ID proof |
| Login from new device and location | Possible account takeover | Confirmation that the activity was yours |
| Deposit name mismatch | Payment came from a third party's account | Explanation and, if needed, proof of the relationship |
| Age concern | The platform is strictly 18+ | Proof of age |
Notice that none of these happen at random. If you are asked to verify and none of the triggers seem to apply, ask support which one it is. You are entitled to a straight answer.
When verification is needed, the details requested are the minimum required to confirm ownership. Depending on the situation, genuine support may ask for:

Some details allow money to leave your bank account or allow someone to take over your ID. No legitimate verification requires them, and a request for any of them is a sure sign you are not dealing with genuine support.
Our account security guide goes deeper into OTP, SIM-swap and impersonator scams.
Check that the message is in your chat with the support number from this site, not a new contact on Telegram or Instagram. If in doubt, message the real number and ask.
A short question — "what is this check for?" — tells you which details are relevant and avoids sending more than needed.
Share the specific detail or photo asked for. Crop out anything unrelated, such as other transactions on a passbook page.
On any identity document, you can cover the number except for the last four digits, and cover your photo if it is not required.
Once support confirms the check is complete, delete the photo from your chat and gallery if you do not need it.
Verification holding up a withdrawal?
Send "VERIFY" with your username — we will tell you exactly what is missing so your payout can move.
The most common reason a player first meets verification is a withdrawal. On an exchange-style platform, money you win is paid out only to a bank account in the same name as the ID holder. That simple rule blocks the most common fraud — someone getting into your ID and redirecting your balance to their own account.
So when you request a first withdrawal, or ask for payment to a new account, support checks that the name matches. If it does, the withdrawal moves into the normal queue. If it does not — for example, you ask for payment into a friend's account — it will be held until the mismatch is resolved, usually by adding an account in your own name. Our deposit and withdrawal guide covers timings, including the other common reasons a payout can be delayed and how long each usually takes to clear.
A frequent cause of verification is a deposit sent from someone else's UPI or bank account — a sibling, a parent, a friend who "had UPI working". It is understandable, but it creates a problem: if that person later disputes the payment with their bank, the deposit can be reversed, and the platform needs to know the money was not taken without consent.
The simplest rule is to deposit only from an account in your own name. If a third-party deposit has already happened, tell support up front. Usually a short explanation is enough; occasionally you may be asked for proof of the relationship. Hiding it tends to cause a longer hold later.
It is reasonable to want to know what happens to a photo of your passbook or an age document after you send it. The principles we follow and expect from genuine ID providers are:

Because players expect occasional checks, fraudsters dress up their requests as "KYC". Watch for these patterns:
Tiger Exchange is strictly for adults aged 18 and above, and age verification exists to enforce that. Betting involves real financial risk; set a budget, keep it, and never chase losses. The legal treatment of online betting differs across Indian states and the platform runs on an offshore exchange model, so it is your responsibility to check the law where you live before you deposit. Verification does not make betting risk-free or legal in every state — it only makes your account safer.
If you would like a break, support can pause your ID for a period you choose, and our responsible gambling page lists the tools available.
Opening an ID is light: a username, your WhatsApp number and a deposit. Verification usually happens later, for example before a first withdrawal, when a bank account or number changes, or if activity looks unusual.
Withdrawals are paid only to a bank account in the ID holder's name. A first withdrawal or a new account is checked so that nobody else can redirect your balance.
Usually just the account holder name and bank details for payouts. Sometimes a cancelled cheque or passbook front page for a new account, or proof of age in rare cases. You can mask numbers you are not asked for.
Never. No verification needs an OTP, UPI PIN, full card details, net-banking password or your Tigerexch password. A request for any of these is a scam.
No. Verification is free. Any request to pay for KYC, tax clearance or unlocking an ID is not from the genuine platform.
No. Withdrawals go only to an account in your own name. Add your own bank account and complete the name check to receive your payout.
A simple bank-name check is usually quick once the details are sent. Lost-number or ownership checks take longer, sometimes a day or two, because they need more care.
Details are used only for the check they were requested for, not for marketing, and you can ask what is held and request deletion of documents no longer needed. See the privacy policy for the full position.
