Tiger Exchange Explained: The Complete 2026 Guide
August 26, 2026
What a betting exchange actually is, how back and lay odds work, what markets Tiger Exchange runs, and how the ID system ties it all together.
Every IPL season the same thing happens: thousands of players open a Tiger Exchange ID on the morning of the first match, deposit in a hurry, and learn how sessions work by losing on them. This guide is the version we wish every new player read in the week before the opening game.
Send "IPL ID" — demo balance available, real IDs from ₹100.

An IPL betting ID on Tigerexch is the same Tigerexch ID you would use for any cricket — there is no separate "IPL account". What changes is demand. In the 48 hours before the opener, our WhatsApp queue is at its longest of the year, UPI rails are busy, and players who left it late spend the first match watching instead of betting.
So the first rule is boring: open the ID a week early. Message us, receive a username and password, log in once, and explore the panel with the demo balance. When the real money goes in on match day, you already know where sessions sit, how the lay column works and how to read your exposure. New players can follow the sign-up walkthrough; if you already have an ID but have not used it since last season, a quick login check now saves a password reset on the day.
Tell us if you want a demo first. No documents are needed to start; verification happens on your WhatsApp number.
Standard IDs start from ₹100. We recommend funding no more than the amount you have decided is your season budget — more on that below.
Look at three things: match odds at the top, the session list beneath it, and the fancy markets further down. That is the whole map.
Access domains rotate. The WhatsApp chat is how you always get the current link — our official website guide explains why.
Tiger Exchange is an exchange, so on every market you can back (bet that something happens) or lay (bet that it does not). Blue boxes are back rates, pink boxes are lay rates. The three markets that carry almost all IPL volume are match odds, sessions and fancy.
The straightforward one: which team wins. Say the home side is at 1.80 back and 1.82 lay. A ₹1,000 back at 1.80 returns ₹1,800 if they win (₹800 profit) and loses ₹1,000 if they don't. A ₹1,000 lay at 1.82 means you win ₹1,000 if they lose, and owe ₹820 if they win — that ₹820 is your liability, and the panel shows it as exposure the moment you place the bet.
Sessions are runs-in-an-over-range markets, and they are where the IPL is really traded. A typical line reads "6 over runs: 52 – 54". The two numbers are the no and yes lines. Back "yes" at 54 with ₹1,000 and you win if the team has 54 or more after six overs. Back "no" at 52 and you win if they finish with 51 or fewer. Land between the two, on 52 or 53, and the bet is neither — you lose on "yes" and lose on "no" depending on which side you took, so read the line carefully before you bet. Session rates usually pay close to evens (a 100 rate means ₹1,000 wins ₹1,000), and the line moves every ball.
Everything else: a batter's runs, total match fours, fall of the next wicket, highest opening partnership, whether a specific bowler takes two or more. Fancy markets are fun, they are also where the widest margins live. Treat them as small-stake entertainment, not as your main plan.
| Market | What you are betting on | Typical rate | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Match odds | Which team wins | 1.40 – 3.50 | Pre-match views, trading during the chase |
| Sessions | Runs in an over range (6, 10, 15, 20 overs) | Near evens | Reading pitch and batting order live |
| Fancy | Player and event specials | Varies widely | Small stakes, fun bets |
For a deeper primer on back, lay and how the exchange prices form, our complete Tiger Exchange guide covers it from the beginning.
The IPL is not one bet; it is a two-month run of roughly 70 matches, and the players who are still enjoying it in the play-offs are the ones who planned for the length. Here is the structure we suggest to everyone who asks.

Because you can lay what you backed, an exchange lets you lock in a result before the match ends. Suppose you backed a team at 2.50 for ₹1,000 pre-match. They win the toss, bat first and post 210. Their lay rate drops to 1.50. Laying ₹1,667 at 1.50 now guarantees roughly ₹667 profit whichever side wins. You have traded out. The panel's book calculator shows the green figure on both outcomes before you confirm.
Two habits make this work. First, decide your exit rate before the innings starts, so you are executing a plan rather than reacting to a six. Second, never chase a red book by adding a bigger bet the other way; the exchange rewards patience, not doubling. If the live markets ever feel too fast on a phone, the Tigerexch app page explains the mobile layout and how to keep the odds ladder readable on a small screen.
Ready for the season?
Message "IPL ID" — demo balance, current link and a human to answer the first-match questions.
UPI works around the clock, but match-day traffic is real. Deposits made in the two hours before the 7:30 PM start clear slower simply because everyone is doing the same thing, and a payment that lands at the toss is frustrating. Our advice: fund the ID in the morning, or the night before, and keep a small buffer on the panel for the second match of a double-header weekend. If a deposit shows as debited but not credited, do not send it twice — message support with the UTR number and it is traced on our side. The customer care page lists exactly what to include so the fix takes minutes.
Exchange betting is a game of skill against a market, not against a house, but the money is real and the season is long. Only play with money that is genuinely spare. If you find yourself depositing to recover, depositing at odd hours, or hiding the activity, stop and message support: we will place a cooling-off period on the ID without argument. You must be 18 or older and in a jurisdiction where online gaming is permitted for you. Our VIP page exists for high-limit players who have a bankroll that supports it, not as a target for anyone else.
No. One Tigerexch ID covers every cricket market, including all IPL matches, plus other sports and the live casino. There is nothing extra to activate for the season.
Usually within minutes over WhatsApp, but queues are longest around the opening match and play-offs. Opening the ID a few days early is the reliable way to be ready for the first ball.
Standard IDs start from ₹100. A demo balance is available first so you can learn the panel without risking money.
The lower number is the "no" line and the higher is the "yes" line for runs in that over range. Back yes at 54 to win if the team reaches 54 or more; back no at 52 to win if they finish on 51 or fewer.
Yes. On an exchange you lay the selection you backed at the current rate to lock in profit or cut a loss. The book calculator shows the result on both outcomes before you confirm.
Yes, withdrawals run every day of the tournament. Request them from the panel or via WhatsApp; most UPI payouts clear well within the day outside of peak match hours.
